The Alcohol and Other Drug Treatment Services National Directory (the Directory) provides a central point of access to updated information on government funded alcohol and other drug treatment services in Australia.Who is the AODTS National Directory for?
The Directory has been designed for people who have concerns about their own or other’s alcohol or drug use. The Directory provides the ability to search for treatment services located in your State or Territory and to inform decisions in relation to treatment.In addition the Directory will be useful for:
- Health professionals and Health Care facilities
- Services referral to drug and alcohol treatment services
- People living in rural and remote communities
- Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people
When did the Directory become available?
The Directory was made available to the public in early July 2008.Is the information in the Directory up to date?
The treatment services data is updated every 12 months. The Directory also provides the ability for data providers to send updates at any time. If you are a treatment service and would like to update your data, please email AODTSND@test.health.gov.au for information on how to contact the data provider in your jurisdiction.Feedback
